Brian’s professional journey began in the small family business where he grew up—giving him firsthand insight into the challenges entrepreneurs face every day. After earning his law degree, he served as a trial attorney for the State of New Mexico, working in both criminal and civil litigation. As a former prosecutor, Brian developed the advocacy and negotiation skills that now help him work effectively with the IRS on behalf of his clients. He has taught tax courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level in Minnesota.
